Eddie Hall, Britain’s Strongest Man, has teamed up with OSET Bikes to demonstrate his phenomenal strength at Inch Perfect Trials this weekend (Sat 29th April). The multiple world record holder, affectionately known as ‘The Beast,’ will perform a Silver Dollar dead lift of OSET Bikes, weighing in at a colossal 400kg.
In what is a world-first, Eddie will attempt to lift the unstable weight in front of a crowd of trials families.
With action kicking-off at 1pm, Matthew Alpe, from Inch Perfect said: “I am delighted to host such a fun event here. It will be a great day, as not only will we get to watch Eddie attempt the first OSET Bike dead lift, kids of all sizes – even the grown up ones - can get their pictures taken with Eddie, and he’ll also be on hand to sign autographs.”
Running alongside the day’s headline event, kids can bring their OSETs to practice in a designated area for only £10 per person, with spectators welcome to come watch for free.
Pals of Eddie is World Arm Wrestling Champion, Neil Pickup who has helped bring this event to life. He said: “I’m really looking forward to this weekend. I think it will be a great day and is a brilliant opportunity to introduce Eddie’s kids to the world of trials.
“The event itself is good training for Eddie ahead of the World’s Strongest Man Competition in Botswana in a couple of weeks’ time,” he added.
Simon Armstrong from OSET Bikes, said: “We are thrilled to be involved in such a unique event. Having Eddie on board is fantastic and we are looking forward to introducing him and his family to our sport by getting his kids on OSETs. To combine two contrasting worlds of sport is going to be a lot of fun and we hope as many people as possible come along to encourage him! With Eddie performing such a unique deadlift, this will give OSET the opportunity to raise brand awareness to a new and potentially global audience. It will be great for him to learn about our sport and for the kids to learn more about his.”
Eddie will be sticking around for the day, giving the kids the opportunity to snap a few photos as well as get to know ‘The Beast’ himself.
